If your periods are showing up after every two or three months then chances are there that you can become pregnant again.

There are also a number of facts that are surrounded in this pregnancy vs menopause drama. Studies say that around 60 percent of pregnancies in women above the age of 40 are aborted. More than half of the women between the age of 45 to 49 years do not use contraception which results in unwanted pregnancy.

And interestingly more than 10 percent of the women in this age group resort to natural methods to prevent pregnancy. Natural methods are not sufficient and thus a woman who is under perimenopausal stage may show pregnancy symptoms if she is not using reliable contraception methods.
